Last month during my vacation in Tinsel Town, I visited two of my college friends Margaret and Theo, and chased around their beautiful daughter Beatrix with my trusty camera. To witness Bea’s lighting speed growth, first take a look at a few portraits I took last March at her 1 year mark.

Fast forward six months to August 2009…
I love kids at this age because they are too young to be annoyed by enormous cameras hovering over their faces.
Like every other curious almost-two year old, Bea loves pulling tupperware out of kitchen cabinets.
She loves grabbing for things that are way beyond her reach (but they won’t be for long).
And she speaks her mind at the breakfast table.
This photo is my favorite from the entire shoot. It tells me that one day, Bea will be the ruler of an empire.
